About the Job
We are looking for an experienced yet scrappy product leader to design, develop, and guard a best-in-class user experience. This high-impact role requires effective oscillation between tactical and strategic projects in a high-growth environment, a high level of comfort with technology, and strong business acumen.
As the Product owner, you will lead and champion all aspects of customer-facing products, shape technology initiatives, direct and develop a team, drive roadmap planning, and define customer-centric product design processes.
Responsibilities
- Strategic and tactical oversight and execution of our product strategy, including all facets of the planning and product design process.
- Ensure that digital roadmap balances market needs with sound business practices.
- Obsess over early user feedback to uncover viral utility and a sound initial product wedge.
- Ensure that product management and UX incorporate and balance customer feedback, performance and usage data, and competitive benchmarking within its product designs and plan.
- Collaborate with the Engineering team and consultants to ensure that roadmap projects deliver as planned, achieve/exceed their requirements, and ensure that projects have robust, clear requirements and stories, visual designs, and prototypes.
- Measure and evaluate key metrics for digital product and platform performance, including functional performance, feature usage, customer satisfaction, and learning efficacy.
- Be a functional owner of the business and play a critical role in team design, culture development, fundraising, goal setting, and hiring in non-technical positions.
Requirements
- 5+ years of relevant product management or sales operations experience with demonstrated success scaling consumer platforms.
- Extensive product design, development, and delivery experience with a deep understanding of how to partner with engineering teams. Proven technical expertise.
- A high degree of comfort getting your hands dirty in the earliest stages of the business while managing ambiguity and complexity.
- A driven and self-reliant team leader who can effectively manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
